“Take a half bone-in ham and place it in a roasting pan with the flat side down.
Add 1-2 cups of pineapple juice and brown sugar to fill the pan about one inch deep with juice allowing the ham to soak up the juice and brown sugar throughout the baking process.
Cover the ham in tinfoil and bake according to the directions on the package.
During the last 30 mins. of baking, remove the tinfoil, score the top of the ham and pour a mixture of 1 cup of pineapple juice and 1 cup of brown sugar over the top of the ham.
Remove from the oven and let the ham set for 10 minutes and carve.
That’s how I prepare Boston Baked Ham.” states Chef John.
